Please fill this out.

All session info is now hosted on:

https://fringechan.org/session.html

Curious magicians and humble fedoras are all welcome, as long as they leave their arrogance and ignorance at home.

Same rules apply for Discord chat as for IRC chat and the global rules of the website.

Posts in this thread may be edited and others may be deleted. This is to keep the thread neat, not censorship.

Next session:

AP:

6th of November @ 8pm UTC

Seeker 2016-10-18 00:23:22 No.34 >>35

The page says to install discord.

The web app version works as well correct?

Seeker 2016-10-18 00:31:58 No.35

>>34

Yes, you can use the web version, but we've had multiple users with issues using the web version, so I started to recommend installing and running the program instead.

I'd love to join, but I'm not sure if I am comfortable discarding my anonymity through astral projection (as people say in the testimonials, with the checkerboard room). Is this required?

Seeker 2016-10-18 03:21:30 No.37

>>36

Just mentally create a magician's circle, or physically if you want.

Seeker 2016-10-18 12:04:28 No.38

You won't be sharing your room with the group or your astral home place, those things remain private. It is only in the later stage the attendees all go to the same place in the astral you might share the way you look and a favorite piece of clothing.

If anything, you can choose to abstain from the last part of the session and do it later when you feel more comfortable.

Seeker 2016-10-18 12:29:35 No.39 >>40

Is /satoru/ going to be linked in the top bar or on /fringe/? I only noticed it because I saw it on the fringechan homepage, I think it needs to be a bit more visible.

>>36

I didn't get anything about the other people in the room when I took part. Even swastika-anon only got a vague impression of one other person. So I think you'll feel quite anonymous.

Seeker 2016-10-23 16:23:49 No.40

/satoru/ is unlisted for now.

Session in 3 hours and 30 minutes.

Can I get the source material for his AP methods?

Check out:

"The Art and Practice of Astral Projection"

by Ophiel

/library/ will have it

Seeker 2016-10-25 06:31:15 No.45 >>46

>>44

which method from the 4 does Mossa use in his sessions?

Seeker 2016-10-25 10:36:39 No.46

>>45

I remember most of it being from Ophiel, but there was another book he mentioned as well that I do not remember. The book I provided is more then enough in my opinion. That is the only book I've ever used in relation to knowledge related to AP. Mossa's session was redundant for me, I already knew and experienced everything Mossa had taught and more.

Imagining things is not AP.

Changing your astral form is not shapeshifting.

Seeker 2016-10-27 16:07:24 No.48

Because of technical issues, the session is canceled this weekend.

Mossa has to build a new computer and will be busy doing hardware related issues the whole weekend.

The session.html page will not be changed because I can't edit it. So the message here is the information you will see.

Astral Projection is usually thought of as two main types.

There's "AP" which is just elongating your astral senses and limited remote viewing of the mental plane, and then there's the more often thought of OBE Astral Projection where the astral body separates completely.

Seeker 2016-10-31 02:04:14 No.50

>>49

Indeed, but calling the first one "AP" and equating it to be on pair with the latter is like calling nearsightedness perfect vision.

Seeker 2016-11-02 06:19:05 No.51

I got a computer up and running now so we'll have a session this coming weekend.

I'm interested in this, but whoever wrote the rule of "leave your ignorance at home" broke the rule about "leaving your arrogance at home" tbh

Seeker 2016-11-06 14:16:06 No.53

Session starts in 6 hours. Come to IRC in 6 hours.

Because of computer issues, timezones and DST being out, the time on the session page was wrong.

Take a nap and wake up again when the session starts.
