It's not directly inedia related, it is diet related, and is well within the realm of science and not mysticism directly however it explains why foods such as plants are superiour to meat.
Those where people who tried to do inedia from an egoic perspective instead of through merging with God. They literally refused to follow the instructions of the teacher/guide and also their intuition.
That said, I still think the 21 day process is still way too fast for most people.
Inedia is something you'll do if you feel called to it, any other way or motivation is probably ego and will result in unhealth.
>start reading it
>immediately says to visit his website and visit his seminars
It's a book on how to do something, and he's saying to go and purchase special lessons from him on how to do that something. How desperate are you guys that you can't recognize obvious scams?
But in this case, you could risk dying if you do not have a proper guide who has gone through it himself.
Speaking of Ray, I just remembered that he's holding several "retreats" worldwide where he teaches his process. There is more information on his site:
I'll post this in the thread on the /fringe/ board as well.
I did this whole process on my own without 'gurus'. If you're healthy and follow the advices there is no risk.
And if you want to be sure you're ready go raw vegan and do lots of water/dry fasting periods.
Breatharianism is natural and not some 'special' achievement. It's like not needing to wear glasses or being able-bodied.
>you could risk dying if you do not have a proper guide
Are you afraid of leaving your physical flesh (death)?
Do you not trust your higherself to be your guide?
When what I am trying to (re)learn is part of the physical, I would consider dying to be failure.
For fucks sake guys, I'm all for mind over matter, but your body literally begins to eat itself if you do not consume and process certain compounds that aren't available in the air around you.
If you want a magical ass diet or fucking hate food, just look up some soylent or some shit.
And you don't comprehend that these extreme concepts have their limits.
Even those legendary yogis who supposedly accomplished this needed to eat a single bowl of rice here and there.
You're still in the physical world, your physical body needs certain things to keep it from decomposing.
Stop encouraging people to risk their lives for something as stupid as this. Most people aren't capable of reaching this extreme god fucking damn it. It's not a goal in itself anyway, and to treat it as such is to ultimately deny yourself exactly what you're chasing.
