ITT OP has reached what the original buddhist teachings deem false enlightenment or "madness".

> 178. Better than sole sovereignty over the earth, better than going to heaven, better even than lordship over all the worlds is the supramundane Fruition of Stream Entrance. Dhammapada

If you wonder about this see the history of Moggallana.

>>9764

> How to become a sotapanna?

Eigthfold path and the 7 factors "to get the fruit" of sotapanna. See the "Dhammapada". But TLDR is done by burnout the 3 lower fetters that bound you to reincarnate > (false) self-view > attach to rites and rituals > (skeptical) doubt about the path (of the buddha) or your ability to do so.

Usually the "problem" many people have is the "right concentration" i.e. not being able to "feel" the jhanas and get the insight into the Truth (Dhamma). Thus the need for meditation to get there. Many people entered the stream (at the times of the buddha) just by hearing the Dhamma -the 4 noble truths at essence- from either him or other people already in the path. This is because they have already the means to it. Time and place were very different and many people were actually interested in that "stuff" instead of the brand new car or house.

Did you make this thread purely to act superior? Because that's the way it looks. You're doing nothing but boast about how enlightened and brave you are. Give us some useful information or stop posting.

You keep on saying 'watch out, this is really tough, you have to be totally dedicated to the truth (like me)'. That guy asked you for info twice and you still won't give him any, because apparently you don't trust him to go through what you went through. If that isn't egotistical and condescending, I don't know what is.

>you're projecting

Ah yes, the knee-jerk response to any criticism.

never said that

I'm just careful because I regret that I made this choice myself

then again I had no choice at all

>That guy asked you for info twice and you still won't give him any,

i told you, asking for info, theres nothing i can do

you have to ask a specific question. i'll answer anything you ask to my best ability

>because apparently you don't trust him to go through what you went through.

its so easy anyone could do it, anyone can do it

i just dont want to be responsible if it fucks up someone elses mind

i want to clear myself of responsability, that is all

>ask someone who has attained stream entry 6 years ago anything

So, you actually meant - ask me anything so I can boast about muh spirituality, but don't ask me how to attain what I supposedly attained because reasons.

Secondly, I doubt you attained stream entry at all.

Bear in mind that I'm no expert on Buddhism as I focused on Hindu Tantra, but I know bits and pieces.

A Stream-enterer (Sotapanna) is free from:

1. Identity view

2. Attachment to rites and rituals

3. Doubt about the teachings

1. As the purpose of making this thread is unclear to me, I can't speak with any certainty on this, but it seems to me that you still view your self.

>i want to clear myself of responsability, that is all

>I regret that I made this choice myself

How can you clear yourself of responsibility if your individual self in non-existent.

2. Well, as I doubt that you've done any rites or rituals then right, there's nothing you can be attached to in this respect.

3. You are all but doubtless about Dharma

>might even make you suffer for years

>I regret that I made this choice myself

>if it fucks up someone elses mind

All in all, you are just a roleplayer and you didn't even do your homework as to who you are roleplaying as. Either this or you are just that deluded.

If I'm mistaken then ffs just give me something substantial to work with and not your babbling about how the first step to the cessation of suffering brought you suffering.

All you've wrote so far just screams doubt, suffering and ego. And I don't particularly care about either trait, but when they all come together in someone who claims to have gotten rid of them then I won't buy it.

Back to reading the sutras with you! :^)

This happened to me on my first real LSD trip. I totally lost my sense of self, I could remember my name, and my parents and such if I thought about it, but I had no idea who I was. But that wasn't even the scariest part, horrible things were happened all around us, within and without.. Anyway.

After that, I realized how unconscious I was of everything, even me, and my whole perspective of everything was changed, and I came to the conclusion that it HAD to happen, almost as a lesson, because I was a foolish, unaware kid, trying to be someone else, so my social mask was slapped of, an I was left soul naked in a horrible environment, full of menacing energies.

I also realized how I had already been practicing lots of hermetic teachings on day to day, I just wasn't aware of it.

*Know thyself* - This was my natural devotion after this ego-death, lost sense of self thing, so yes. I guess you could say it is one of the first steps to Enlightenment.

The trip was 2 years ago, and since then my journey has never been dull. It's like I was re-born and had to re-learn lots of things, gaining lots of new different views.

After than I managed to get back to balance (still unknowingly through magick, hermetics..),

adapted, grew, learned and then I fell in love really hardly - no pun intended.

And only then have I got REALLY into magick and the occult, and all this. Which was basically just as if someone uncovered my eyes, because it was all around me all along.

Looking back now, it has been a really magical road. I can constantly be in awe, stun and amazement if I wish to, but unfortunately some of us still have to conform and adapt to this alienating society… ;-)

Ummm…. Am not sure what are you asking me about - do you just want to know my thoughts about it or do you want me to "confirm" that it was the stream entry? If it's the latter then I don't know, I'm no expert on entering streams.
