Hey /fringe/.

Been a while. Stopped visiting doublechan's page when Smiles stopped giving a fuck about cleaning the place.

I GUESS this will serve as a general repository for incoming updates in Temple of Solomon, given it's the first link at the top of the library sticky. I'm posting today in particular as now, along with the Yorke microfilms, I've got scans of the Sloane MSS. Anywho:

>A.'.A.'.>Philosophy

Pritchard's “Witchcraft, Oracles, and Magic amdong the Azande”

Ritual Year no. 10 (This appears to be an academic journal that chronicles material on…ritual years. I include this in the Cultus Sabbati folder as well given how in-depth this gets with draconian myth and the staggering amount of cultures it covers)

>Babalonian

Babylonian Sacred Words of Power: Mystic Gateway to a Life Abundant

>Enochian

Dee's Five Books of Mystery

>European

Superstition and Magic in Early Modern Europe

The Anglo-Saxon Charms

Ancient Cures, Charms, and Usages of Ireland

(All of these are also in the Cultus Sabbati folder)

>Freemasonry

The Rules, Statues, and Customs of the Hospitaliers (aka The Knights of Malta, sworn enemies of the 32nd degree Scottish Rite): 1099-1310 ((Warning: .djvu file, I didn't convert it because this update's been a pain in my ass anyway.

Harley 6486: Sponsalia Celeberima of Hermes Trismegistis

I love you Tattooed Man.

Any updates coming to Eastern folder?

All things considered, this thread should be moved over to >>>/library/

What does /fringe/ think – let this thread stay here or move it to its designated board?

I have no tattoos.

Not anytime soon unless I can find the rest of the chapters of Tantraloka in English.

>>3810

It appeared to be (/lib/), mostly a repository for individual text files, and more or less dead, hence my posting here.

I tend to field questions and take requests, if they're decent, but if I should just be posting the update(s) quietly on /lib/, then so be it.

I think this update and corresponding thread are signifcant enough that it should remain here on /fringe/. A special exemption for a special case, especially since he takes requests and fields quiestions.

It was a Coil reference-joke, isn't your name the Ape of Naples? Seriously, can't read it, but I think I remember it from 8ch.

Right.

Why are you disgusted by Coil anyway?

Because of the man in your pic.

I mean, Coil's fine in and of itself, I guess, but holy fuckballs is Bill Breeze an incompetent sack of shit.

Dude couldn't administrate his way out of a nutsack, and attempted to threaten lawsuits against anyone using the name A.'.A.'. other than his instructor's branch.

>Because of the man in your pic.

I posted John Balance and not Bill.

Yeah I thought it's some Thelema shenanigans :^)

He only played one instrument in Coil though, at the end of it's career. Peter and John were Coil and not this dude.

tbh I haven' event heard of the guy ever before, but I'm not so diehard fan to know everyone who ever played some part in Coil.

I have a srs hard time telling a young Balance and Breeze apart in the face.

Breeze's relationship with Coil and the other bands he has his fingers in is complex. Got his degree in music law at Harvard, iirc, and shortly thereafter fell in with the Nekrofile Records crowd. He was "around" long before they put his shitty viola tunes on track.

FWIW I dig the early Coil/Zos Kia drop Transparent. I dunno if I'd call "Summer Solstice" 'toward the end' tho.

I'm more pissed they keep Breeze around as much as they do than anything musically. Breeze's problems are all his own, and can be found with a quick google search and an eye for which stories are full of shit and which aren't. You don't need me to come to an opinion to form your own.

Yeah, I know that Thoth's Monkey, it's just I don't really care about the lineup and all the drama that comes with it, I'm more interested in music.

>I dunno if I'd call "Summer Solstice" 'toward the end' tho.

Well, it certainly is the later period of their musical evolution.

Anyway, thanks for your mega, it certainly is an invaluable library and, for what it's worth, I'm very grateful for it.

This thread should be moved to either /loosh/ or /library/. The subject of the thread is directly related to material in the /library/ board, but the content of the thread is more suited for /loosh/.

Anywhere but this current board, /fringe/, would be good.

I've been hunting for The Art of Dreaming by Carlos Castenada. Anyone know where I can find it? I searched high and low through this repository but couldn't find it.

Thanks to OP for putting all this together, you are a true friend to us.

Hey Ape, figured it was only a matter of time before you showed up here.

Google ate halfchan so I haven't been able to post in /omg/, and 8fringe is a mess.

I've been waiting to ask you about your solstice, anything you'd be willing to share?

Seeker 2016-07-08 22:02:49 No.4215

I have a question and don't know anyone better suited to answer me than OP (if you will of course).

Typhonian Thelema: what are the best materials to learn about it and learn their workings? I've gone through the mega and found some books (Moonchild? Typhonian Teratomas?) but maybe I've missed something. I've read some Kenneth Grant before but, as far as I know, he is all about philosophy behind the system and not the actual workings, but I can be mistaken.

Hope you will visit the thread soon.

Also, some other question that came to my mind: was Crowley's system of Enochian magic a direct copy of Golden Dawn's one or did he made modifications?
