Since few months, a new picture or "meme" is present on 8ch called the "oathbreaker", and i'm wondering why all the thread about it were slided, bumploked, or removed.
According to the author, this picture can break "oaths". Here, we haven't oaths, but some religious people have oaths, maybe it's explaining why this subject is censored…
In one thread about it, the OP said "In the Odyssey, Odysseus uses oaths to try to maintain his power over his crew, and maintain the military hierarchy, but he fails"
Don't you think it's a good question to talk about the revelance of oaths ?

An oath is nothing more than an idea
Oaths are a form of magical binding. Voiding of oaths frees the individuals to do what is right because it is right, not because of the binding oaths.

Oaths can be powerful but they are maintained or broken by those partaking in them, not any others. Elsepeoples have naught the power to directly influence your will, at most they can bias your choices but at the end of the day, they are still your choices.

I can explain why this subject receives censure.
Everyone lives inside their own reality bubble. However, many entitites have decided to open their reality bubbles up to each other, creating realities that are shared to a greater or lesser extent. The sharing of realities involves sharing an information set of facts, beliefs, experiences, ideas, or more generally information.
"Memes" are another form of such information. Adding new information to a consensus reality bubble from an individual partially attached to said reality bubble will always be rejected unless and until the information can be integrated into the rest of the reality.
The harder it is to relate the information, the more pushback will be generated. Pushback nay be from the elites, the members, or usually both.
The Oathbreaker is just on the verge of being able to be accepted.
