If this is what you're wondering about, you'd know it if you had been lurking /x/ for a while. This topic comes back now and then.
It's the general understanding that 3 people are still alive and maintaining the website, you can even chat with them. Their "mission" is to explain what the cult was about to people who are interested, that's why they didn't kill themselves. It seems to be in accordance with the info posted on your link, that 3 people are living there. It's not particularly strange or interesting really.
It's just the private garden of some artistic rich people. This has been gone over plenty of times.
