Nutrition/diet thread. Best diet? Anonymous 2017-12-04 05:43:44 No. 1029
nutrition thread pls
Post examples of diets that have worked for you, what you've found through experimentation, basic nutrition info.
here's much of what little I know. solely about supplements that one should take daily
https://pastebin.com/msZr5trp
and 'how to quit opiates without withdrawal symptoms'
https://pastebin.com/WmuTLyRj
which has some other info about effects of b3 and ascorbate
Aside from this, the author of that (who went by Tryptamine on SilkRoad and SR2) recommended a diet of fruits, vegetables, and mushrooms, raw, with no oils other than medium-chain fats. Coconut oil, essentially.
(I think he said mango oil and maybe palm oil was also fine? but whatever the other 2 were, they were super-expensive and not good quality). I think nuts were fine.
No seeds because they have things that inhibit digestion. I forget what other guidelines except I think no legumes/beans?
I tried this diet for awhile and had loads of energy but was scattered/ungrounded most of the time also. Grains would sap my energy (not supposed to have them), and of course anything animal-related would, too.
A few months later it got cold and I was always freezing. Then I found out from a Chinese medicine practicioner that raw foods make the system colder/more yin, which is why I was so cold all of the time. (Coconut oil also does that, btw)
So I started drinking clove, turmeric, and ginger in hot water every morning and started eating other stuff.
Nowadays I kinda eat whatever. No meat most of the time though.
I've read in a Mantak Chia book, I think, about grains/meat being grounding, and I'd agree. Sometimes too grounding, but I have enough progress/energy now that I don't feel un-magical the way I used to after that kind of stuff.
I posted in question thread and someone said
"I don't see methyl folate, MSM, chromium, molybdenum, iodine, boron etc. on there.
As far as benefiting esoteric practices MSM is what I would recommend most. When I can afford it I take 30+ grammes a day"
I imagine Trypt knew about everything except maybe MSM, and I think vitamin b9 is methylfolate? L-Methylfolate (5-MTHF) is one form of b9.
Anyway, if anyone can share sample diets and what's worked for them, staples to stock up on, maybe even recipes, that'd be great.
