Nutrition/diet thread. Best diet? Anonymous 2017-12-04 05:43:44 No. 1029
nutrition thread pls

Post examples of diets that have worked for you, what you've found through experimentation, basic nutrition info.

here's much of what little I know. solely about supplements that one should take daily

https://pastebin.com/msZr5trp

and 'how to quit opiates without withdrawal symptoms'
https://pastebin.com/WmuTLyRj
which has some other info about effects of b3 and ascorbate

Aside from this, the author of that (who went by Tryptamine on SilkRoad and SR2) recommended a diet of fruits, vegetables, and mushrooms, raw, with no oils other than medium-chain fats. Coconut oil, essentially.
(I think he said mango oil and maybe palm oil was also fine? but whatever the other 2 were, they were super-expensive and not good quality). I think nuts were fine.

No seeds because they have things that inhibit digestion. I forget what other guidelines except I think no legumes/beans?

I tried this diet for awhile and had loads of energy but was scattered/ungrounded most of the time also. Grains would sap my energy (not supposed to have them), and of course anything animal-related would, too.

A few months later it got cold and I was always freezing. Then I found out from a Chinese medicine practicioner that raw foods make the system colder/more yin, which is why I was so cold all of the time. (Coconut oil also does that, btw)

So I started drinking clove, turmeric, and ginger in hot water every morning and started eating other stuff.

Nowadays I kinda eat whatever. No meat most of the time though.

I've read in a Mantak Chia book, I think, about grains/meat being grounding, and I'd agree. Sometimes too grounding, but I have enough progress/energy now that I don't feel un-magical the way I used to after that kind of stuff.

I posted in question thread and someone said

"I don't see methyl folate, MSM, chromium, molybdenum, iodine, boron etc. on there.
As far as benefiting esoteric practices MSM is what I would recommend most. When I can afford it I take 30+ grammes a day"

I imagine Trypt knew about everything except maybe MSM, and I think vitamin b9 is methylfolate? L-Methylfolate (5-MTHF) is one form of b9.

Anyway, if anyone can share sample diets and what's worked for them, staples to stock up on, maybe even recipes, that'd be great.

>tfw beans and rice are my staple

also
>eminization

I took that for its own word when I read it, and then when I glanced at it again an hour later realised the F was cut off

took me a few minutes to realise the ** word was faggot and not bitches since it was plural the first time. I also considered trannies before realising it was 1 letter too long for the plural.

Things that promote high DHT (hair loss, lower testosterone levels and prostate problems):
>excessive dopamine buildup (masturbation)
>sexual release (masturbation)
>meat (especially red meats and much more if fed growth hormones)
>dairy
>anything that increases metabolic acidity
>low vegetable and fresh fruit diets

Regarding meat, if you commit to a ketogenic diet, the effect is reversed. But that means if you're going to be eating lots of meat, you should reduce carbohydrates as much as possible.

>Best diet?
Lots of plant matter (vegetables, nuts, fruits). No red meat. No dairy. No sugar. No caffeine. No alcohol. Eggs. White meat once or twice a week. Flakseed oil + Vitamin E (to avoid oxydation of the oil), Vitamin B6, saw palmetto. Do the Wim Hof method. (this temporarily alkalinizes your blood pH and has been shown to help your immune system balance as well).

Keep in mind alkalosis is as bad or worse than acidosis, so going overboard. The problem is most diets today promote high blood acidity. There are other ways of lowering DHT other than alkalizing your metabolism if you are already balanced in that aspect. Know yourself.

*so going overboard is not good either.
Also, I forgot to say alcohol can help you fight prostate enlargement caused by high DHT because it lowers testosterone. But alcohol will absolutely wreck you long term, so you should be careful with it and know what you're doing.
I could say the same thing about tobacco, but knowing you're all a bunch of wanking monkeys with no self control, stay away from tobacco.

stop
these
meme
diets

I've been there and the truth is that the energetic and scattered feeling is your body trying to push you into finding food. It's a panic reaction due to starving basically.
Also the freezing is due to lack of energy to keep warm. I've been there and even ran around outside all night (in winter) despite noticing how I freezed all the time. I pushed it anyway to gain some spiritual powers but it only made me age like crazy because aparently I ran on jing energy all the time due to being malnourished.

That was 2 winters ago, I'm still recovering very slowly.
Please don't make the same mistake in falling for meme diets: not meeting your caloric needs. Your body will make up ways to get it's energy but it will cost you more than eating some bread.

yes I did note that I learned not to do that after 1 winter. it seemed fine in the summer, and I detoxed and looked younger after (but may have tapped my jing).

I now try to follow a diet based on my tcm related symptoms and diet advice, and wanna look into anti inflammatory and anti mucus diets. I'm sure I have plenty to learn about nutrition.

taoist diet plus i was vegetarian since forever

its simple:
no wheat in any form (anything with white flour) (i still eat pasta, also you can use white flour if its "whole" unprocessed, or you can create it yourself)
no sugar, no sweets, no shitfood, no processed food (avoid), no nothing unnatural
no milk, no meat, no cheese (avoid, but not strict, i eat pizza sometimes)

everything else is allowed
its pretty comfy i do literally nothing, eat almost the same things yet i feel "unfucked"
