Around 2007-2010 I experienced a wave of paranormal activity which I believe is rather remarkable and the more interesting experiences have been experienced by other parties. Around 2010 I did a very long report on /x/ about this, even then my memory was waning because I felt overwhelmed with the amount of stuff that happened due to the sheer number of incidents happening every week.
I only remember the highlights now, but I might as well post this here like I did on /x/. This isn't a copypasta or anything. This all literally happened. I'll break down the experiences, these aren't necessarily in chronological order, but I hope it gets the escalation of events across. I haven't proof read what I have written, so please excuse any spelling and grammatical errors, or any rambling on my part. I've tried to break these experiences down into chunks so I can at least stay on message and avoid rambling.
1.) Weird sounds around my house, sounds of footsteps and banging on the walls. I dismiss it
Stuff goes missing
Things begin disappearing and reappears in bizarre places, my family and I ignore it but the incidents gradually become stranger. My sister's boyfriend brings over a book to the house, it reappears torn in shreds in between his truck and the truck bed like someone stuffed it in there. Wallets go missing and reappear in the basement in boxes full of old clothes and books. Keys goes missing and reappear in cupboards above the fridge and other parts of the house you wouldn't normally look in. I initially get blamed for this.
Now here is the most bizarre disappearance experience that happened. In the summer the fridge is bare and there is nothing in it, except for a couple small times like tomatoes and a cantaloupe. There is like nothing in the fridge so of course the cantaloupe sticks out and is really apparent. My mom is doing some cooking and she is getting some stuff from the fridge.
She opens the fridge, gets something out, comes back a couple minutes later, opens it, and the cantaloupe is gone. She calls us to tell us what happened since its quite bizarre. We gradually forget about it, then a few weeks later I go to the fridge to get some milk for my bowl of cereal.
I pour the milk in my bowl, and go to put the milk back. Bam. The cantaloupe is back in the fridge out of nowhere after being gone for several weeks. The span of time between me opening the fridge and going back in is 1-2 minutes max and I was the only one in the kitchen.
Bizarre stuff like this would happen regularly, on a weekly basis. I have no explanation for this other than the possibility that someone was pulling an elaborate prank, but this doesn't explain things like the cantaloupe incident.
Shadow people
I would see shadows in the house of people regularly. During a period of time when I was the only person living in the house, I blocked out my b bedroom's windows with blankets so no natural light could get in (because it created this weird twilight situation where I would wake up and not know when it was day or night, for whatever reason this felt really cool and I felt like I was outside of time or something).
I would be sitting in my room watching the television and I would see a giant shadow of a person walk across my wall. Stuff like that would happen..
Astral cloud above my head
On a Saturday morning I go downstairs to watch TV. I look up and I see a giant silver cloud above my head. From the cloud silver droplets or flakes are falling. They disappear into nothingness just above my head, before they hit the ground. The giant silver cloud disappears after a bit.
The case of the moving blinds
I'm living in a new place, I see the blinds are all bent out of shape and stuff. I think "hmmm…thats strange". The blinds/curtains are huge because they cover one of those sliding balcony doors"
As I am sitting on the TV something strange happens. I notice the blinds start to bend. One of the strips that the blinds are comprised of bends at a radical angle like someone is pulling it back. I dismiss at first, but it happens again…and again…and again. I eventually get used to this and it just becomes part of my life.
All the paranormal stuff that happens which I cannot all recall because it is so common just seeps into the background and I can feel the presence of entities, but over time I feel reassured by their presence because it tells me there is probably something after life or at least something beyond the physical.
Then one night i'm home (again no one is home besides me) watching TV and eating a pizza when it happens. The entire curtain/blinds thing that covers the large sliding balcony door starts shaking violently. The entire thing just starts shaking. It's no longer just a curtain strip bending. The entire thing is moving at once like someone is violently attacking it or something.
I immediately run to the door of the apartment and open it. I put a chair in the hallway and I stay there for awhile. I gradually go back to the couch, but I leave the door open until whatever did that comes back. (Again I'm the only one in the apartment and it's like 1 am).
The presence/entity in the room
I'm now living in Italy and I am in a very small room. Someone is sleeping in it with me, he is also sleeping on the other side in his bed. I hear a noise opening, I think it's the door. I am sleeping when I hear this noise, it wakes me up, and as I am about to fall asleep again I feel something that makes me wake up and become extremely alert.
I feel an alien presence in the room, and I can sense what it is feeling and what it wants. I can feel it searching through my possessions for something. The presence or entity saturates the room, it is impossible for me to describe the feeling since it is unlike anything I have ever felt. Gradually it leaves the room through the door which it came. I can feel its presence disspitating through the door.
Note: I didn't see it. As soon as it woke me up I covered myself in blankets and went into the fetal position. I was scared shitless and I stayed there for hours hiding even though I was scared and I had to take a piss. I couldn't leave the room though because it was very early and I didnt want to wake anyone up since the apartment was very small.
The entity or whatever it was came back again. I was trying to sleep in a room when it opened up a large heavy door that was shut. At first I thought someone was coming into the room, but the door just opened on its own accord and nothing was there.
I have no idea what this entity was or what it was searching for.
Astral Projection Attempt
I go to a bookstore and buy a book on astral projection. It comes with a CD of some sort of shaman chant or something. I put it into my CD player, put on my headphones and go through the exercises in my book.
I feel my wrist becoming warm and I think my astral body living my body partially. It was an interesting feeling but as it happens I get scared and stop. "Hmmm that was weird" I think, and then I brush it off, but then it happens.
I start to hear a distinct whistling noise, it may have been the sound from the shaman chant. It's not just a whistling noise, it is some sort of haunting call.
Other than that i can hear (It's hard to describe, but imagine hearing someone in another room, it was like that but it was clearly coming from another dimension or "the ether") a chant, a banshee cry. The banshee cry and the whistling chant sound overpower me. I can hear them as clearly as I can hear the TV that is playing in the background now or when I hear someone speaking to me in person. It sounded real, I could hear it clear as day.
I feel a mental fog come over my mind as I feel overwhelmed by the chant/whistle sound and the banshee cry. I start to cry because I'm afraid that I have suddenly become schizophrenic.
I eventually decide to go outside for a walk at aruond 1 am to see if I can just jogg off the whistling noise and the banshee cry. It doesn't work and I come home distraught.
I am so sad that I cannot sleep, but eventually sleep takes me. I remember when I started to wake up in the morning the first thing I noticed was "The whistling noise is gone". I feel free, my mind is clear and the mental fog is gone. I can think. I was so happy at that moment, I cannot describe it adequately in words.
The voice
I am talking to someone on the landing next to my bedroom when we hear a loud echoing voice that seems to come out of the ether from upstairs. We both run upstairs and look around. All the doors of the various rooms are closed, and the windows are closed. I immediately stop the person who is with me and tell them to tell me what they heard. I don't tell them what I heard because I don't want to contaminate their recollection with my own version, so I just want to hear their initial raw impression so that I may compare it to mine. They tell me they heard the voice call out my name. I heard the same thing.
Shortly after we hear the desperate voice call out my name the paranormal occurrences die down and I can no longer feel their presence around me. I was scared of them at the time, but all the same I felt reassured that they were there because of what it meant (that there is something more than the material out there).
Okay, that's everything that I can remember/stands out. It's not as interesting as what some other people have experienced, but it is what it is.
I just wish these entities would come back even though I was often very frightened of them.
>>9419>I just wish these entities would come back even though I was often very frightened of them. That's a feel I am well acquainted with personally.
what if that spirit possessed you, and brought you to this website
what if we were all brought to this website by a great spirit, who comes disguised in many cloaks (avatars)
our name is Ommmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
or, what if the entity just wanted the OP's loosh?
>>9419Hasn't anything "out of the ordinary" happened since?
