What's the #1 thing holding you back right now from developing occult power?

For me it's noisy mundanes.

They are the bane of my wizardly existence.

I wish I could be free of them so I could meditate in silence until I reach a level of development where I can meditate anywhere later on.

Well fuck there's tons of knowledge here. Have you read all the books? Also you could just focus on accessing the akashic records and once you have access then all other knowledge will come to you.

Think of it like a current in a stream or moving body of water, once entered into it you're being carried along by it to some degree. It's similar to the term reality tunnel in a way.

I've got no idea where it comes from or if that's the official definition of it but that's how I relate to the word.

Mundanes, tiny room, really. I have 3 hours of peace A DAY. During that time I meditate, do a banishing ritual, visualise, sigilise, practice AP, etc

If I was sure magic was real, I'm sure I'd become crazy obsessed with it.  I'd meditate, evoke demons, do yoga, try to awaken my kundalini, join some occult fraternity and start leveling through the ranks, et cetera.  I'd go deep.

But I'm kind of teetering between believing its real and dismissing it all as silly.  I wish I knew a way to prove it to myself one way or another without investing 20 years of study.

A lot of magicians believe their magic is placebo or theatre. Remember that placebo is the same as not placebo. You could visit some place in India, or other things. A group would be a waste of time, most of it is old people talking about non-related subjects and people who believe in different things which leads to arguments. Anyways, just do it faggot and see for yourself. Get a book of results and record everything, practice different practices and religions, etc etc.

You don't need 20 years of study, you can start doing magick right away using chaos magick's sigil techniques, you can learn breathing techniques like this one >>7080 to get to know your body better (knowing which parts of your lungs you're using is much more useful and practical than you think) and how to get free highs, you can read some RAW to help break your conditioning easily and in a fun way, do the practises in his prometheus rising book. 

Do all of the above as a starting point and you'll be getting there within a few years easily.

Do you even watch the various videos which show people doing magic for real? Like the 96 hour timelapse of that guy who is meditating and doesn't show any signs of dehydration at the end of it all? …or the one man who sets fire to paper with his hands? …or the various demonstrations of psychokinesis effecting air, water, and other things done on the avatarenergymastery youtube channel?

Magic is everywhere man, but there is also a huge effort to cover it up, and I keep finding that articles I come across which contain some kind of miracle or proof of magic inevitably get deleted and shutdown before long. People get assassinated, etc.

I'm personally taking a lot of precautions myself before I reveal my own powers because as much as I want to show others, I don't want to get killed by factions in this world that are intent upon keeping humanity in ignorance.

Well after going from NEET to back into education I've noticed psychic intuitions/vibes/whatever floating around a lot and most people seem to react to them. I guess they could be unaware of them on the level that I'm aware of them but still react or maybe my mind has just added an occult tinge to normal social interaction, though it's often not on a level of body language or other mundane interaction.

Also when someone is spooked or upset or their sense of self is broken in some way their thoughts seem to leak out a bit, it happens more with some people than others, I'm pretty sure other people can pick up on this too.
