What's /fringe/s opinion on urine therapy?

It's a well documented fact that a mans first secretion of the day contains quite a lot of testosterone, as well as pineal gland secretions such as melatonin. It was for this reason that the Yogis of old would consume their urine every morning.

urine actually has some chemical that acts as a detoxant, but it was years ago I saw in my chemistry book and don't remember it
I still find it disgusting

urine also has a lot of uric acid in it, an overabundance of which can cause gout.

so, piss maybe isn't the best health drink ever.

I have massively overdosed on melatonin and experienced no effects from doing so. I don't know why.

Didn't do shit to help me sleep. I took a whole handful of them at once in a desperate attempt to sleep and ended up staying up all night.

I've taken it in small doses as well before. All sorts of different doses. Never have success.
