I have finally found some decent information on the process itself. If you have ever 'seen red' these links will probably be of interest to you.

I am going to perform an initiation ritual as is suggested for gaining better conscious control over the ability. If anyone else is doing so too, please discuss your results. There are apparently many berserkers using the above sites and I read mention of a forum. They may be a better resource but I feel this is also an appropriate topic for /fringe/

Still, I recommend utilising the already established community for specific questions, as is my intention.

I got tunnel vision last night when my mom really pissed me off with her total disregard for my sleep by talking loudly all night long. I kind of snarled at her and wanted to spit and trash her to pieces.

No redness though, just a feeling as if an overwhelming force was pushing me from behind towards my target to kill it.

According to this info, the red vision does come from blood filling the eyes as I suspected. My main focus now is on getting a method of willful instigation. Then, when in the presence of enemies it can be triggered, rather than seemingly at random when I cannot contain my fury at the world.

It pleases me that despite the best efforts of others, this blood gift has not been eradicated. Perhaps someday soon, berserkergangs will once again roam in defence of the King and lay waste to pitiful opponents.

I think /astral/ would be better for it, although distinction should be made for 4th density journeys. Maybe a dedicated one for 4D and the rest is 5D.

Back to topic, what ideas are there for the initiation ritual? Wolves and bears aren't as common as they once were, we need something dangerous to test ourselves with.

Plenty of very dangerous muds and anti-whites around.
