What if the strange celestial spirits described in the grimoires are not angels or fairies or planetary intelligences, but aliens who made contact with the Middle Ages peoples to study them? That would explain their bizarre descriptions and belief that they come from space.

ProTip: Some of the aliens are in fact humans who are thousands of years old and who were advanced occultists way back in their time.

ProTip 2: On /x/ plebs archives you'll find my posts where I described what alien worlds are like and basically there is a very common pattern of planets being overpopulated by degenerate forms of sentient life but a few individuals excelling way beyond the rest of their species and going into space.

ProTip 3: Humans are an intergalactic species and some humans are flying around those UFOs and responsible for a whole lot of wizardry, abductions, etc.
