What is your opinion on this occultist turned catholic?

For what he's about I recommend Orthodoxy ( http://www.gutenberg.org/cache/epub/130/pg130.html ) and The Man Who Was Thursday ( http://www.gutenberg.org/files/1695/1695-h/1695-h.htm ).

I suppose he saw some miracles and it turned him into a catholic because he was impressed by them but he's unaware of miracles happening in other religious settings too.

Hermeticism is the one true religion as it basically explains all the others and puts them all into perspective, makes sense of them all.
