Hi guys. First time poster here. Im just interested about this whole place and more specifically about you. How did you get entangled in the occult, how did it impact your life, did you find what you were hoping for, does it actually work and if it does, why do feel the need to hide and not go on a quest to enlighten the masses?
Feel free to answer any or all of my questions. Oh, and if any of you can see the future, please tell me when she will be coming back from China.

Fringechan isn't as active where you're coming from, hence answers may take a long time. This is and will be a valuable lesson in life. Sometimes, answers won't even appear in this life you're currently experiencing.

I personally get attracted into the world of the occult when I discovered what Kabbalah is. I personally love history and got into the more esoteric history when I discovered that my great-grandmother was into the world of Kabbalah. Needless to say I dugged deeper and deeper and here I am.

It impacted my life quite positive. I am calm, more logical, I do still feel but less intense as first. Logic and feeling are now more balanced for me (ying and yang respectively).

I have not yet found where I was looking for, but then again I am still a newbie to all of this, it'll come. I hope to astral project one time, I have all time and patience. I started trying one-two years ago, so I still have enough time.

Only thy who is enlighted can enlighted, and only who is not enlightened will only dissolussion the masses

I wonder if anyone can fortell the future, since it is not linear.

Someone did a demonstration of multiple magical powers and inspired me to begin investigating the occult and magical and also gave me a link to montalk.net

Turned me around from an extremely depressed nihilist to becoming a theist and having actual hope to become a better more powerful being and to have eternity before me.

What do you mean by this? The main thing I wanted was to know death is not the end and I got that. Now that I know it's not the end my intentions are to advance as much as I can in this incarnation in order to not fall back into ignorance.

I don't want my enemies using magic, it is very powerful, and they will use it to go against my agenda. I'm a white supremacist and I only want other white supremacists to seriously know about and use magic. Sometimes I'll tell certain other individuals about it as well if they seem extremely neutral and just want to do stuff like heal people and whatever that is harmless.

tl;dr it is a very tricky matter to reveal the future to others without changing the future. It would be easier for me to view the future, write it down in secret, check again to see the future hasn't changed from me writing it down, then wait for the future to unfold on its own then reveal the timestamped note I wrote down months/days/weeks/years before to show off that I could indeed see the future.

I've had no personal experiences so far. However, my mother did see my paternal great-grandfather in a vision/dream (whom she hadn't seen ever before) warning that something would happen to me. My dad was in Bosnia then, for deployment, and the next day something happened to me indeed (I was a sick infant back then). Thanks to the warning I still live, and my mother told my dad about this. He recognized the description of this person as his grandfather, who had passed away around twenty years before that vision.

Since then I am intrigued to the supernatural.

It's just a matter of withdrawing myself mentally from all sensations in my body, from all sounds, from all light, etc. and the body becomes very relaxed and eventually I feel no pressure on it and at some point I will be in 4th density and I'll still think I'm just laying there but in actuality I'm already out of body.

I do it whenever I decide to go into my room for awhile to rest. I don't have a routine, I sleep at random times day or night.

I became interested in Buddhism, however, I wasn't fully satisfied it; however, I became curious to investigate the world's religions. The religious mysticism, such as Sufism, interested me.
That religious curiosity then lead me to occult and philosophy; I'd say that my interest towards history has also fueled my search for the answers; is there a god? What is god? What is our purpose, if anything?

In many ways,

Buddhism has become a close companion, giving me insight into our suffering and salvation from it. It also inspired me to meditate; this has has made more calm, rational and serious.
The occult has given me many options to ponder about, as has philosophy.
However, I am skeptical, wanting evidence and direct experience before adhering completely into anything. I am ready to experience, however. Still, I find myself disagreeing with people here quite often.

Meditation is definitely useful, but I have not got any notable results from occult practices for now. They need to be tested many times before they can be named 'working' and 'not working'.

Spiritual yet skeptic, in short.

alright, do you think you can tell me if I had an out of body experience? I still have a memory of waking up from a dream one night and just wanted an external opinion

I just woke from a dream one night, and I remember feeling a floating/rising kind of sensation, and I felt sort of like a ghost, not a physical feeling, but a feeling/sensation nonetheless, I felt like, sort of like air I guess, I felt myself existing but just not physically, and I remember seeing myself facedown lying on my bed. Was this a spontaneous OOBE or not?

I ask because I've had some vivid hallucinations when in that weird about to fall/just came from sleep state of consciousness and I've had a specific dream where I astral projected, but it was a dream of floating out of my body, not actually doing the spiritual thing, so I don't know if this instance was different.

Yeah you probably did although that's not the only way you can do it. You can thoughtform all sorts of other astral bodies that function in different ways, you don't have to gloat around like that.

Because I'm an edgy 14 year old who found himself here in January when this pace had very few posts a day. I have more magickal power than half the posters here, being as it seems like Smiley and some other pisters actually practice. Reading is a curse which blocks back many neophytes here.

Gave me reasons to be interested in life and reasons to all these spirtual questions I had. I give many thanks to Smiley and freedomboard for setting me on the right path because it seems people are influenced more easy nowadays.

No, everything was greater than expected and have had some… crazy experiences.

Magick is mental, some things won't work for others, e.g. not everyone can evoke theNecronomicon gods. Find what works and add it to your grimoire. Make your own magick btw. If it works, cool add it to your grimoire. If it doesn't, either move on or edit and repeat until it works. Everyone is a snowflake.

Our purpose of secrecy is secret. Honestly I think it should be kept secret yet in plain sight so only those whom are ready and willing to seek us out will get there…

Last time I tried, I lost the cross that's been with me since birth and started having horrific nightmares. Even got few scratches and bruises during one of them, self inflected I think. Got them while trying to rip free from the hand that grabbed me in my dream. Scared me shitless and I stopped all the readings and meditation practices. My curiosity, however, is talking stronger hold of me and I can't stop thinking about it.

No problem, a lot of occultism is based off christianity, there's a lot of christian mysticism and christian/judaic influences.

For your dreams I'd recommend banishing rituals, do them when you wake up and before you sleep, you'll do them in your dreams naturally, I ended up doing it in my sleep the first night I tried it.
