Quite frankly imo she is right about materialistic society being shit and modern science being also shit and I admire her ability and knowledge to survive in the woods. Most of us, if not all of us couldn't do it. We are degenerates, children of comfort and degeneracy. But…

Will she attain Gnosis? We may still be at an advantage here with all our weakness, degeneracy and comfort. Because we have it easier to attain the ultimate enlightenment. We have the keys and the time to use them. What use will it be to be so hard and badass and survive in the wilderness without any influences of the modern world, and yet not be able to attain Gnosis because life is too hard and your time is too little? Will it not be all in vein? Will it ultimately make a difference compared to the average anime watching videogame playing braindead who wastes all his life on ignorance?

Actually when she said she needed some help I immediately thought of the possibility to go there and live there while helping out.

We could bring new instruments and some stuff and become monk celibates in the Taiga. Abandon modern society and live a real life again. Maybe we would die, but who cares. With our knowledge we could also share some deeper insights with those two elders. When they die we just keep living there and maybe get one or two new souls to help out. Maybe the farm even will flourish. It might end up as a true temple, one of the last true spiritual refuges.

Of course Agafia would have to teach us first how to survive or else we die pretty fast.

I don't know what to make of people like this. You life in the fucking forest, so what? There's no inherent 'spiritual/occult' benefit to that. Eskimo's aren't enlightened, Amazonian tribesmen aren't enlightenment, and so on. The way I see it she's just making life more difficult on herself.

Moreover, if you have to spend 99% of your time just surviving, there's little time for practice I imagine. This seems just as bad as being some office drone that works 60 hours a week -worse even.

Before they had fuck all, just primitive stone tools and hemp clothing and stuff, now she has corrugated iron roofs, animals, etc. lots of stuff so her survival is much easier now only problem is she's really old.
