I think since this is /fringe/ we can all agree at least that there is:

1. A level or order of mind which is omniscient (all-knowing).

2. That mind isn't an isolated, disconnected phenomena but an actual sphere of activity in which mind can influence mind directly. Aka there is a mental plane that all thoughts reside on, similar to how radio signals are broadcast over a spectrum.

3. That mind is wrapped up in mind; superior levels of mind hold the thoughts of lesser instances of mind in them. So while the lesser mind isn't aware of the greater mind, the greater mind is fully aware of the lesser mind it contains within itself.

4. That there are well verified accounts in parapsychology of super-rational intellect speaking through people that is able to actually answer any questions perfectly, including for example how to cure any disease, often times offering very novel and strange ways to cure diseases.

5. That if we focus on a thought we bring it into our center of awareness / spirit. Probably an analogy/approximation but that's basically how thinking works, all thoughts come into us and out of us by some mode of attraction, (just wrote a ton more but I'm going to just delete all the nuance about what is actually happening when we think and "ownership" of thoughts and so on here but fuck I need to get to my point)

6. If I spend an adequate amount of time just focusing on an omniscient being that wants to teach me I should soon have manifest in my thoughts that being. Then if I keep at it consistently I should be able to maintain a stable contact with such a being or intelligence without losing the connection over and over that I can begin a dialog with them.

7. If I succeed I'll be able to "talk to god" through the medium of a manifested personality of god in the scope/awareness/spirit of my mind.

Once I have achieved this there will likely be a problem. Everything I ever attract to me is contaminated with some degree of noise. I think this is because of my own imperfections, my "sins", my falling short of the standard of god, who is pure goodness and virtue, and my impure mind which is always bringing in lots of random shit. This means then I can't absolutely trust in the spirit-teacher I think… or maybe I can? Either way I, no matter what, I have to test everything they say and hope I am not misled or that the being I have attracted turns out to be incompetent and their teachings unworkable and having no bearing on reality.

Point is this. I am wasting my time in the maze. I need to center myself in actual knowledge and stop trying to use books and inefficient means of acquiring knowledge. I have put off on this metaphysical experiment of actually opening myself to god, god's message, and his messengers; and have relied on myself and my observations and my books for too long. Maybe then I'll actually start to really solve so many of the problems I am burdened with and start using my life in the best way instead of spending the next however many years I might have left reading and arguing in the maze just to suddenly get killed and realize I never accomplished anything with my life or even enjoyed it very much with the time I had. Worse yet I might just reincarnate ignorant again.

The alchemists like Paracelsus who made cures, who transmuted elements, who clearly were in possession of "the greatest wealth, greater even than that of emperors" aka real knowledge I believe had contact with intellects and mind on that higher order to accomplish so much in their lifetime. Socrates had a spirit-guide called Daimon. Yet reading their works which have been passed down to me still is obviously inefficient rather than going direct to the source they must have went to. I think I should be looking at these books more as inspiration to go to god, rather than doing what I've been doing and searching for clues in them and trying to build an ultimate metaphysics out of it all. I could just ask God to tell me what to write down as concerns a complete metaphysics too. Why should I even waste time writing out my thoughts about reality when I could try to channel god and then examine the result to see if it is indeed a good and pure signal I got straight from God? Plus I shouldn't feel any shame in doing this because while God might have given his message many times already, each individual, and each age, and every nation is different. The message always gets lost in translation or at least dampened when it's received by other than whom it was specifically and originally for.

tl;dr I need to establish contact with a mind much greater than my own to gain worthwhile and useful knowledge at an accelerated pace, books and philosophy and internet discussions just won't cut it anymore.

tl;dr purpose of this thread btw is to gain feedback about my plan and also to hear anything else you wizards might have to say to me as to how I can get out of the maze

Sounds silly but have you tried astral traveling yet? You can go to high dimensions and attract a high level guide who can educate you in the astral.

btw I am heading in the same direction as you and I see how bad it is. You are absolutely right, we must get in contact with a higher being or maybe even the higher self. Napoleon Hill claims in his book "Outwitting the devil" that he was able to contact such an entity and it guided him to immense success and understanding. Like you said, Paracelsus and Socrates all had contact with those beings.

Will defintely monitor this thread now for a little while to see if anything good comes out of this, until then I can only say DO astral travel. It's most important, if you won't find the beings there that will guide you, where else?

I have no idea what state the board is in. I haven't even read the other threads except one I was just reading while waiting for your reply. For all I know this board is still a great place and is performing its function as a medium for occult discussions. It's just I don't want to be in the maze any longer, I don't want to bog myself down randomly going through the writings of philosophers that take tremendous amounts of time to process, I don't want to have fruitless or one-sided discussions with people anywhere on any board or place, I want to skip past the very clumsy and inefficient process of inductive and deductive and abductive reasoning, and aim for something more like direct gnosis and/or guidance from an intelligence that far surpasses textbook knowledge, knowledge of the senses (empricism), and rationalism.

Max Freedom Long's Science of Miracles as well as a couple other books from the library I've read all point the way for me. I need to stop this foolishness I burden myself with at present and really push myself to unlock my mind, to interface with the subconscious, and contact those higher minds. It's just not efficient or desirable to learn everything the way I've been doing it so far. Think of all the illiterate shamans who see into the souls of things and learn everything they want to know from everything. I met one of those shamans before in a coffee place, he was hiking around with a woman great distances, and he had just been talking to pine trees that day. The guy was telepathic also and could read thoughts of people around him including me.

I already know how to do these shamanic techniques. I know how to do all of this. But for some reason I can't really quite understand, I only dabble in these things, just enough to know they work, but then I never take it very far. e.g. in past experiments with mind-reading, getting results was sufficient for me, and then I just went back to studying in my mundane way tons of parapsychology texts and other texts. Maybe that was the right thing to do at the time. At this point though I really feel I should take the next step. Besides I've read all of montalk multiple times and know about standards of channeling, disinformation, etc. I am very well prepared to make contact and also to test and examine properly whatever might come through.

I got to stop dabbling and get serious. I need to get much closer to god, and thus to knowledge, power, love, presence, and all those other qualities that constitute God. I need to use my mind-power fully now and stop relying on the safe and familiar processes I have primarily used thus far. I got an insanely strong intuition that has guided me through my whole life like a homing missile towards truth, side-stepping so many dangers, I need to put down the books now and really concentrate and start arranging my activities too so that the joy flows in my life and makes my mind vivid and strengthens my aims. I must purify myself and make myself a strong vector for god to work through.

I have to do some serious work on creating stable thoughtforms and anchoring them in place and so on. It is inconvenient to wander around at random and meet strangers in the astral then lose contact with them.

Really I do this all the time but again I need to:

A) create stable, persistent thoughtforms that aren't going to run off from me never to be seen again or dissipate back into the void because I didn't energize them properly and for long enough

B) create portals and or astral spaces anchored in some way to an object or to my room or to maybe even my body, whatever, just some way I can consistently get back to those astral workspaces / libraries / etc. whenever needed

…but I think you're missing the point. The medium limits us. There's real adepts and wizards all around us and even here, but like with magick itself, even though it was always going on around us earlier on in our life we somehow never noticed. Now that we're greenpilled it's ubiquitous, we see sigils and magick and occult influences everywhere, so much that we wonder how we were somehow unable to notice it before. When it comes to "real wizards" and "adepts" we might recall to our minds these words from The Kybalion…

"The lips of wisdom are closed, except to the ears of Understanding"

I want to tell you right now something important about what we know as "telepathy" or which is better termed I think "thought transmission". Whenever I look into someone's mind I become contaminated with their thoughts. This is why you can't just go around all willy-nilly opening up these subtle channels of thought with others because even though you can exercise a massive influence on them it tends to work both ways. In order to understand another person you have to take in so much of them, and also to heal someone you tend to take in their sickness to yourself, especially as when you look into their body you feel and see what is there, and so on. It's not just dialog, words, etc. that are transmitted in "telepathy" it is a ton of other shit too that comes with you.

As far as I'm concerned you will find initiates in the oddest and stupidest places, e.g. /b/, and here on /fringe/, but if you really want to get into a higher variety of community you and me we're just going to have to mature our minds and enter into them. Just because you find an initiate though doesn't mean you're going to get much out of it. A lot of things that you don't appreciate at all, things that are maybe just nudging us in the right direction here and there, and which aren't what we are consciously looking for are probably done around us all the time.

I don't think talking to any adepts on the internet or in person is going to help much if your goal is to accelerate your development which mine is. The medium is too limiting. We would have to interact with those adepts in a more direct way… and here's the problem. Someone can tell you they are an adept, maybe even impress you with something that shows they can do awesome things, but you don't know really how developed they actually are and how great is their understanding. I think using a formula of just aiming to contact omniscience or mind that is compared to ourselves much closer to that, and then simply waiting for whatever comes through to come through, and starting a dialog with that (which would be more than just an exchange of words because as I am saying thought transmission carries with it far more than words, it can carry impulses, traits, emotions, and so much more) is bound to be more productive.

The key is unraveling all the personal shit (aka trauma) that filters your soul from achieving contact.

You've put plenty of study in, sounds like you need to PRACTICE and put the actual work in which involves inner work.

Go to vipassana. By far the easiest way to release traumas and get a better understanding of yourself/god/reality.

That's the thing, there is no more step in the physical. If you want it to be more defined, you end up with something like freemasonry or joining a pagan cult. It still leads nowhere, those are at the same level as this place, how you meet doesn't matter that much, what would you tell them that you can't talk about here?

I've been with a group for a number of years and it still doesn't help. They have mailing lists, websites, private forums, meet in the home of members or in parks. You see them in fb groups and in youtube comments. In the end there are mundanes and neophytes mixed in just about anywhere, and you won't get anywhere by doing that stuff either.

The community you are looking for is hidden in plain sight, it's the same people lurking here and shitposting to ruin it, trying to provoke a reaction to see if there is someone potential out there. Most of the time there isn't. If you can't add one and one yourself it won't help to join something.

you're on the verge of a big change in heart and you know it. it's so huge and exciting that makes you post your whole stream of thoughts in a board you haven't frequented for quiet a while. i don't think anything that i'm about to state is going to effect you in anyway throughout your journey but one can not always be so sure .

First know that no individual can change the world (specially for the better) as bitter as this truth is, it helps you to relax and realize your path to truth is a personal one and going to affect you most of all and just like you stated, your motivation shouldn't be instructing or impressing others or yourself! when it comes to yourself you can trust your intuition and don't need all that logical conflict inside your mind. after all your intuition is rooted in what you accepted as facts or truth and therefore could be trusted most of the time even when you can't find the actual origin of it.

you're probably gonna go for a more practical approach for finding the truth and that means less reading hourslike you already had enough!

. this scary feeling is just inertia that occurs at the beginning of any sort of change. after all the years of extensive reading it's time to take matters in your hand. form your own ideas and theories and whenever doubt occurs you can open a book on the matter. you can still dedicate some 2-3 hours or even more to free reading but know that as you already know, getting all the info from the books is not necessary or even possible.

you should keep in mind that i'm far from where you're standing right now and still following your footsteps. but i know and am pretty sure anyone who starts seeking truth knows that at some point you gotta take action otherwise you're just a walking library, an uncertain one may i add.

Concerning astral projection it's energy intensive and wasteful. It burns you out fast doing it all the time. Montalk says as much about it. I am trying to find a way around that. I want to agree with you but if that's the extent of your contribution, I really think you might want to look into the actual structure of how things work here. Practice is the name of the game and practice requires more than the tools themselves. I guarantee you that many people here would not be out of their depth during psychedelic experiences. "Just take mushrooms," while a good starting point, is only a part of the equation, it requires the right input to produce the right output.

There is a discipline to the use of psychedelics as there is a discipline to the direction and application of all ecstatic experiences. Every shaman ever has either been shown a discipline or has very quickly developed a functional discipline to it, given repeated use. It would be nice if just doing them was enough, but psychedelics can only work with what you give them.

You can draw a line of distinction anywhere you please but nothing in the universe is disconnected from anything else – that would be the creation of a separate universe if two things were not related. Technology can achieve this, just because you're ignorant of such ability existence of tech that is being "revealed" doesn't mean the "revelation" is super-natural. Realize that our secret tech level is much higher than commonly thought – we've been through civilization resets…

I'll spare you the rest, but the primary thing to understand is that everything that happens in your mind exists in this reality. There's no bullshit "astral plane", it's just your mind imagining things. Stop dreaming of shit that doesn't exist and start affecting reality with your mind. The "astral plane" is a PSYOP to get you trapped in dream land where you're unable to affect reality.
