The rules are simple and mostly apply to the creation of threads on /fringe/:

It's pretty odd that I know what all these symbols mean. All of them are green pills at a symbolic level.

So I got to thinking "Is it possible for green pills to be toxic?"

Some instances: flat earth, the moon is fake, demon magic (technically an indigo pill), chemtrails, vaccines (I don't know what to think about this one), the Armageddon Conspiracy, etc.

I have no idea what's real anymore. I feel like seeing a psychiatrist, psychologist, or priest could help, but I don't trust them. Do I take the blue pill? Or should I just stop taking pills in general? I a newfig that doesn't meditate. Would meditation help? If so how do I start? Would studying philosophy help?

Pls respond because you won't just help me, but potentially thousands of lurkers with similar concerns.

Just sit and close your eyes and let your mind observe the way your brain logically and intuitively puts all of this together. It may take hours to months to years worth of intense meditation work but you brain will eventually defragment all this info into something you can make an educated guess on.

That's your first problem. Meditation is the foundation. It will help you in more ways than you realize.

Don't get caught up in asking yourself "am I doing it right?". There's a lot of confusing terms out there regarding meditation. I won't throw those at you. Meditation is actually very simple. It's so simple that it's difficult for some people. It's only as difficult as you believe it will be. You are essentially learning to quiet your mind. You can do this by intentionally thinking of nothing (very hard to do at first). You can do it by allowing yourself to think but then not allowing yourself to hold on to the thoughts by just letting them go (less difficult for a beginner). You can also do it by chanting a mantra, whether out loud or just in your head, repeatedly until it drowns out everything else in your mind (easier to do for a beginner). There are also many guided meditations where you listen to someone else guide you through the meditative process. Those often come with some visualizations that aid in helping you drown out your normal thoughts. After you learn the guided meditations, you can replay them in your head when you are meditating alone.

There are a tone of different schools and techniques in meditation. None of them are wrong. Some work better for some people and others work better for other people. Some techniques will work great for a while but then start to fade and then you will have to change things up. You might find multiple types of meditation that are beneficial to you. So don't get too caught up on one single type being the "one true way" to meditate. Try them all… but give them a good try. Don't just try it once and give up before moving on to the next one. You should really give each technique at least 2 weeks, preferably a month, of regular practice before you decide if it works for you or not.

Personally, I found that meditating before going to sleep was the best way for me to keep it in my daily routine. Doing it before sleep also helped me to overcome my insomnia (and start lucid dreaming/astral projecting). Everyone is different though. Either way, you need to make it a regular part of your daily life. Think of it as "working out" for you mind.

Well, ask yourself, do you wish to continue down this path? Or do you wish to leave it? Certainly delving more into magick and the occult will create more mental stress, but I assure you things get better.

If you would like to keep learning I would suggest reading Liber Null and Psychonaut, and if you like that, Liber Kaos, both written by Peter J Carroll. They address your anxiety of what is real and what is not in detail throughout Liber Null and it will prove to be incredibly helpful. I myself had similar issues to yours, and these books helped me immensely. In fact they have been the two most important books to me on my personal journey. If you'd like I can give you a brief explanation of what the books talk about.

And yes the other anons are correct, meditation is mandatory in this, but you will learn it isn't necessarily like all the stereotypes.

If you don't like someone else's story, stop listening to it. 99% of the world's misery is caused by two things, the first being the idea that other people have a say, the second being that you are stuck in whatever story you've been telling yourself about the world. Horseshit.

Care only for those who tell stories that compel you. If some psychic vampire keeps feeding you some kooky shit you don't like, treat them as you would treat a spider you find in bed. Destroy the idea of them utterly.
