Is it possible for me to utilize the Lemegeton (Solomonic Magic), even though what I'm working with is incomplete?
It's impossible for me to find reliable copies of many of the texts. The Grimoirium Verum is missing from the Mathers translation (pic related), and finding a pure, non-bastardized version of the Ars Notoria seems to be very difficult to do as well.
Completing the Ars Notoria is said to grant an eidetic memory and instantaneous learning, which is a necessity for me since I wish to complete the Abramelin, and then start working with Enochian Magic.
I appreciate all of this stuff, but I value gaining that eidetic memory and great capacity for learning more than I value the Goetic Demons and my incapability to be receptive to them given my end-goal of what I would like to do (which is work with Angels)
Basically all that I want to know is this - Am I retarded for working with the Goetia, when all that I really want is the reward in the last book of the Lemegeton, so that I can forsake all of these demons, contact my HGA and make my personal demon subservient to me, then spend decades mastering Enochian magic and constructing the Book of Silver Leaf from the sigils gained by the Enochian Angels? Is my process fucked up, or am I just incompetent? Is all of this way too grandiose for me to even hope to see through to completion? The secondary meme is just to showcase my frustration.
