Interesting topic OP, I got some stuff that can be used as preliminary banishings in rituals, it is unfortunate I do not have a properly typed up version, right now.

Ill try to type it up best I can:

PART I-

Starting East, not because it is commonly done this way, but because one must tap into ANNA first, so there we begin. It is mostly in English, but it does work.

To the wicked spirits of the east

(Open palm outward, both hands, push and say)*((From here on out, ** means to do this))

BARRA ALLA XUL

To the cruel spirits of the winds

To the malevolent spirits of the east

After this, draw another ARRA star while vibrating ENLIL. Once this is done, spread it outwards on each side of you, sealing that direction.

Now, to the south, into the fires from the heavens

I call upon thee to watch over the eastern gate of the winds

Close your eyes and imagine a tornado rising up before you. Help it along with your hands if you so wish. I find it helps me. Once satisfied this force has been called up, say/vibrate:

ZI DINGIR ENLIL KANPA

again, while spreading this in both directions,sealing that direction

Repeat to the south, except its:

ZI DINGIR GIRRA KANPA

I call upon thee to watch over the southern gate of the fires

Then west:

ZI DINGIR ENKI KANPA

I call upon thee to watch over the western gate of the waters

Then north:

ZI DINGIR NINMAH KANPA

I call upon thee to watch over the northern gate of the earth

PART III-

This short. Face the north(or)east, then look up. Draw the star of ANU, with your open, fully extended out hand, above you while ZI ANU KANPA. I do it northeast sometimes, because I feel like that position represents our present position in the scheme of things.

Heres one that serves as sort of a banishing, but its more like a cleansing of your planetary energies:

Part I: Bring down the current through the 7 gates and through ENKI

*NOTE: I draw down an orb and pull upon it sideways to expand it as I recite each line. At each "Chakra" expand the orb's light.

**NOTE 2: You can replace ENKI at the lower end of the process with NINHURSAG if you so wish. I believe I did change this part later on, this is an original copy of the rite.

(This is the step process of drawing down the current into your body, ENKI has his place twice to represent the keeper of the current, and as the Lord of Earth (En =Lord, Ki= Earth))

Part II: Cleansing the Current and Yourself

To the North-

Facing North Trace the Pentagram, starting at the lower left “leg” of the Pentagram. It is important to actually draw down the current through you, like water, while tracing this pentagram. Vibrate this slowly and deeply while you are tracing the Pentagram:

BANRABISHU

Then after this, while imagining yourself charging up, like gathering fire, say with force

while open hand attacking the center of the pentagram:

BANMASKIM!

To the East-

Facing East Trace the Pentagram, starting at the lower left “leg” of the Pentagram. It is important to actually draw down the current through you, like water, while tracing this pentagram. Vibrate this slowly and deeply while you are tracing the Pentagram:

Part IV: Sending the Current Back up Through the Spheres

Starting from the ground below start pulling the Current up through your body while saying these lines:

NOTE 3: Just reverse the process from the beginning, this time contracting the orbs energy back into its original orb form while move the energy upwards thru your body again.

While you are saying the last line imagine the current pouring out of you and back into the aether from which you pulled it.

This is a good ritual to perform daily to exercise your magickal muscles.

*FINAL FINAL NOTE: The BANRABISHU and BANMASKIM parts can be done alone outside the ritual for a quick, "on the fly" banishing.

I want to know if cultivating "spirit pressure" and "martial prowess" would be enough to death punch a hex or anything else like that.

I already believe I can so this is me just waiting until I have motivation to go exercise.

Some may also like to know that most of the searches I have done myself all link to Necromancy and alleged Necronomiconic ritual centred around evoking dead spirits and phantoms. Others simply ask to recite these words and do similiar things onto whatever kind of end you would like to see. Make of that what you will.

I worked with the Necronomicon, have walked the 7 gates and am still learning to perfect my art. The title of the thread summarizes who this thread is intended for. It sounds like not you, but that is ok.

This sort of magical work is definitely not for the average dabbler,or even practitioner. You definitely need to be able to figure shit out on the fly as the information on Mesopotamian magick in actual practice is still scarce, even today with the internet.

With all that said, there is no one monolithic method to dealing with magickal attacks. I posted some things people can use if they so decide to do so. If you don't feel comfortable, then stay away.

One last thing, the rites I posted DO NOT banish the forces you call forth from the other self initiatory rites, they banish away lesser spirits who "dirty" up the ritual space. They serve to "clear the table off", so to say. This is regards to the Mesopotamian methods or systems. It appears Enochian is similar in this regard.

I happen to think so, if you are able to evoke that energy that pushes away the bullshit attacking you. But sometimes, you're dealing with a thorn bush situation, and need to strike the root. You don't have to change your pantheon to be able to wor wth the Simon Necronomicon, and know that the old Fath is one, the name just changes, for example the Egyptian called Ishtar (Inanna) while she was isis in Egypt, Shammash s RAA …etc

Hell you can even call yahweh f you are into that sort of thing.

So you can call on whatever type of dety n order to use it's powers.

Funny thing about the relationship between ENLIL and MARDUK, I found that Raoh was ENLIL, and Kenshiro was MARDUK. Fist of the North Star was the anime, and it helped me understand that deal much better than the writings that survived from Babylon and Sumer.

Yes Enki is the main deity in the simon necro, because he is the God of the magician and the primordial waters.
